Drawing from her respect for Japanese design, Ilel has fused traditional Iznik motifs with origami-inspired plates. Through a combined effort with her mentor Ilknur Ozoran, the design offers a unique approach to Iznik motifs by focusing on individual elements, rather than traditional repetitive patterns.
 

The resulting combination of two Oriental artistic practices is a highly unconventional one, which celebrates a new and global style one can see traces of walking the streets of international metropolises around the world.
